Foam in AC Blower

Hi Everyone,
My AC blower has been sounding awful for a few days. Whenever I turned the power up it sounded like a lawnmower. My mechanic wanted to replace it for $700, so I did a little more research and discovered that insulation/foam can sometimes get stuck in there. It took about 20 minutes start to finish, and I removed a piece of foam that was stuck in the blower. It now works fine, and I saved $700.

My concern is what the piece of foam is too. It looks like it may have come off of the flap to the passenger footwell AC vent, but I am not sure. Should I be concerned that it came off? Should I try to put it back, or not bother?
Thanks!
