Great Car!

New to Boxster ownership (it was on my "bucket" list for a long time). Just purchased an an 01 S about 3 months ago, enjoy the hell out of it, and am now looking in the western suburbs of Chicago for a good mechanic, if and when, I need it. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Like most newbies the mods are already flowing -996 short shifter, M&M muffler, FabSpeed by-pass. and CAI. Love the handling of the car (use to drive an 07 Miata). I also really enjoy this Forum for info and pass through it almost everyday.

Glad you're having fun!

I bought my 01 S in February and I'm in love.

IMO, don't bother with the desnorkel mod.

Welcome to the club (the forum AND make/model)!

Had mine since 2006 and the "fun factor" hasn't faded in the least.
