I just purchased a new 996 cluster for my 3.8 Boxster, so here's to having some fun with the PST coding this thing....

DJ, they could have taken a different cluster with lower mileage and simply popped off the faceplace from your cluster and put it on the other cluster.

I've taken apart a cluster a number of times and it's quite easy to do.

yeah, well whatever they did does not look legal to me, unless they got a new engine with that many miles.

DJ, even if they put a new motor in it with that many miles, it's still not an accurate reflection of the total miles put on the car's suspension, transmission, cooling system, internals, AC, etc.

I would be very upset if I saw my previous car being used in a scam.
