Amber Headlights/Clear Headlights

I have found that I like some colors with clear headlamps and that some other body colors actually look better with older style amber lights. What is your opinion? What colors look better with clear and what colors look better with amber? Are they any combinations you've seen that you absolutely don't like? Thanks for your responses.
