ha ha, I can still hear! Im past the stage of loud booming sound systems, which I must say is alot worse. Like I said it is not for every one and I don't drive my car daily as it certainly will be inpractical then.

Glad you still have your hearing! Like you said, it's not for everyone and it's definitely not for me. I noticed a tinny rattle when I drove mine without the cover, might be a loose heat shield.
I bet you really enjoy driving a Boxster there, I used to visit South Africa and Namibia every year but haven't been back since 2005. I remember the drive out to Fish Hoek and Simons Town was really nice, even the drive up north was great. A friend of ours also owns Die Strandloper in Langebaan. That place was awesome.
