Gas cap NOISE? LOL

so today me and the ol' man start up his boxster after i changed the water pump (OMG what an annoying job LOL)
and after the car warmed up a bit, i we heard this whirling noise coming from the gas cap area?

could the gas cap be going bad? LOL

no CEL yet...so maybe the car was thirsty for some Chevron?

Bad seal on the cap - the original cap has been superceded by a new and improved.

Or, it could be the filler neck, issue with the early cars, can be repaired.

Cheers!

Gas Cap Noise

Did a new gas cap fix the problem? I just replaced my water pump (2001 Boxster S) and now have a similar noise.

Thx

Could that noise be air in the coolant lines to the rads? How did you burp the system?
