I did the 986S (s in red) after some guy at a hand car wash broke the original.
I used the bumperplugs guy but it was kinda steep for only four pieces.

I like the soft tooth brush idea but an OXO feather tip brush from autogeek.net or similar would be much better...totally paint safe. It feels similar to those ultra expensive boar's hair brushes. I wonder if the soft tooth brush bristles are soft enough for the soft German paint. And of course you can later use the OXO brush to clean your topp with the Raggtopp cleanser.

If you're really a perfectionist you can use a hand dremmel with a diamond shaped polishing bit
