Reccomendations for Auto Body Shop Toronto

my brand new baby (09 Boxster) was hit in a parking lot; luckily i saw the guilty party commit the act. the driver's side front quarter panel is damaged; likley needs to be repalced and the door has some chips.

my baby is less than 3 months old and this happened as i was taking my dying dog to the vet.

any recommendations as to where i should take the car to be fixed - insurance is paying so i want it fixed properly.

also, do i need to worry about other issues? wheel alignment? etc.

i would appreciate any comments.

thanks.

Since its so new I would take it up to Pfaff Autowerks... they do good work, know Porsches, and are also fairly quick...

Yes

the car should be put on a frame jig and the trueness of the tub/frame/structure measured. And the suspension should be examined, the wheels checked for deformation, etc. That is what Porsche asks for in order to maintain the warranty. Ask your dealer for info that substantiates this and use it is the other party's insurance balks at paying to have it done right.

Don't know what the CA rules are on "diminished value" compensation..the money you should get because the records now show your car has been hit and no one will pay book value for such a car.

I can't believe their attention to detail!

They specialize in German vehicles.

He has worked on my Boxster.

They have done numerous 911's, late model BMWs, Audi RS6 and W12 and are currently fully restoring a Kharman Ghia.

they are at 519 853-8989 ask for Mike.

tell him Mark with the red Boxster referred you.
