Water leak by door mirror

Not a great weekend. Having had my car diagnosed with RMS failure on Friday (my birthday!!!) :ah: I left the car on the drive at home in the rain. When I went back to it a few hours later, a few small trickles of water had come in from the bottom corner of the passenger window, where it meets the triangular mirror mount on the door. There was a small pool of water in that corner too, and the water had run down the door to the door carpet (where to door speaker would be, if my car had door speakers!!) When I felt the carpet, it was quite damp at the top, so obvously quite a bit of water had come through.

I'll mention it to the dealership when the car goes in for RMS repair, but is this a common thing? I've never noticed any leaks before.

Thanks

Paul

Maybe I should move over your way......if there is no rain, then this won't be a problem!!

I'll mention it, but I'm not going to worry too much at the moment.

Seen it twice on mine and on the same spot too - it acts as a reminder for me to lubricate the windows seals, then no issues
