Dash lite out

I just noticed that in the center of my instrument panel where my digital MPH and outside temp. are located is not lighting up any more. They are working, just not lighting up. Is this simply a bulb problem in the instrument cluster? I have already had the instument cluster out installing a shift light, I guess I should have replaced all the bulbs then. BH

Sounds just like a bulb, no
need to replace them all, there are a heap of them and they are nit cheap. Simple enough to remove cluster and pop a new one in anytime.

The instructions to get to the cluster is here:

http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/mods/obc/#3

Then, if you want to see the back of the unit, see this page on my web site...

http://www.iwantaporsche.net/cluster.htm

If you look at the second pic down, the bulb is directly under the white sticker with a barcode on it.

The bulbs can be purchased through Sunset Imports in Oregon and even with shipping and handling, will probably be cheaper than your local stealership.
