Optimum Tire Pressure

I have a 97 base with 16 inch wheels and I just had installed all-season z [w] rated Kumho's. The installer put 35 lbs all around stating that it provided the best balance between ride, comfort, and handling. The manual calls for something like 36 lbs in the rear and 30 lbs or so up front.

Should I go by the manual or is the installer's information more up to date, particularly considering my choice of an ultra high performance all-season tire?

Thanks!
