ALMS is actually gaining market share and the series has never been stronger. Granted it does not get NASCAR coverage but it is doing very well.

well i stand corrected! didnt know that it was getting more popular. I sure enjoy it of course!


but nascar... that stuff is just beyond me. only left turns and cars that dont remotely resemble their names sake except for having 4 wheels seats and a steering wheel.

I will be there... but as a guest of the Bell Micro racing team in their suite rather than the Corral.

I will also be bringing my Cayenne rather than the Boxster since I am taking some other people.

Still should be a fun event, as long as the weather plays nice!

well I dont think you can complain about a suite! that sounds pretty awesome. if you see a silver boxster 986 in the corral you know ill be there have fun up in the suite im sure it has a nice view of the starting/ pit area

I will be sure to make the rounds and visit the Porsche Corral. I have some friends from my old Yosemite region that are supposed to be there as well. Looking forward to it.

I will be there tooooooooo planning to leave around 8 am tomorrow.

this will be my first time after almost 2 years of being away from any car scene :dance:


Parade Lap was the best...I did that during the summer of 08...just don't get carried away in the cork screw turn

sweet! when I went during the monterey historics there wasnt a single boxster (maybe one that i missed) in the corral who knows maybe I just missed them all. but im hoping there will some boxsters there for this race. ill be there tonight for an hour or two for the practices. last time I checked flying lizard had the fastest practice times
