Starter Cleaning or Replacement DIY link?

gschotland Registered User Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: nj Posts: 389	It's not just cleaning, it's cleaning and lubricating. The original grease getting dirty and drying out is the problem. Here's the post referencing a DIY article on a VW forum: http://986forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24020 This will help with working on the starter itself only.
