way too busy looking. That BMW concept car with F1 elements looks much better.

Anyway maybe I too much of a Porsche Homer...I love it!!

			0 to 60 in 3.2 sec198 MPH top speed

It's a hybrid and can do 94mpg in eco mode.

Just google "Porsche 918 Spyder" for lots of links and some videos.

Stunning looking car imo....roll on lottery!

It's not too outrageous, like most concepts are (Maserati Birdcage 75th edition?!), so it can look just like that if it does come out.
And if it does come out, it will be the best looking car in production...period. The amazing thing is, I never thought I'd see the day when a Porsche would look better than a Lamborghini.

Amazing that this car comes from the same company that gave us the Panamera
who ever forgot to design the back end of the Panamera should have been fired |

It was revealed today in the "Sydney Morning Herald" that the Goverments new $30 weight tax wont apply to this car as it is a hybrid.
 Thats convinced me.

The new 2010 911 Turbo 'S' will do about the same, 3.3 sec., for a lot(?) less $$$.

from some angles I like it, others I don't.
what is with the wheels???? they look like they are see through????

It is like the CGT, but I like the CGT better. this one is too busy looking..like they took a CGT and added a lot of busy looking parts....mods, etc... the CGT is just perfect as it is...

i suspect this car will be out of my price point.......

I'm hoping that because this is a concept, it will be toned down if Porsche brings it to production. The Boxster concept, for instance, was toned down when the production 986 went on sale. |

In this, and near future, economy, it'll never hit the street!
Just a concept to sell other Porsches... wait and see.

 Cheers!

Porsche actually built two 918s back in the mid '70s, one for Ferry Porsche and one for Ferdinand Piech. Basically a 914 with a 908 flat 8 engine installed. Factory built 300hp 914s! Too bad they never put it into production.
