I'd say if nothing else, the seller at least got a dose of reality....anyone paying 35K just bought fools gold...is it worth more than a normal 986 sure, but not by much
I just plugged my car with 20k miles and it's options in at www.kbb.com and got private party "excellent" and $29k and private party "good" at $28k. Retail is at $32k. Mine has navigation and Bose, but most of the other stuff is standard on the 550. What did you use to get that $25k number?

The OP should email that one for $32K with only 7K miles to the guy who told him to pound sand. That's barely enough miles to warrant an oil change

if you're going to bump it up to $39K for plush options you could also get this well optioned drop top

Garage
I'm not a big fan of maroon (which is what that looks like to me), but still a nice car, and matched well with the interior color.

Is that Arena Red Metallic? If so, it can look drastically different in different light conditions. A guy local has Arena Red on a 911 and it looks stunning in person in my opinion. In general I like that color combo though as you don't see it too often.

not my personal favorite color but its actually nice with the tan, I would definitely paint the side vents to match....I would go with Cayman vents, obviously looking at my car, but even the standard boxster vents painted would look great....

I love Carmon Red. And that's a great ext / int color combo. Would have bought a left over new 06S in that color instead of my LE if the dufeses in NOLA would've played ball. Part of the allure of that color to me is you don't see many Porsche in that color. I like being a bit different and I don't like to see copies of me on every street corner. Take that Boxster to a Porsche event and chances are you'll be exclusive. Stand out in the crowd.

But what difference does it make if we do or don't like that color. It's your hard earned $$$, not ours. If you like it, buy it. You don't need our approval.

I don't remember what I clicked, I know special edition, premium wheels, spoiler, I possibly missed a couple options.....
