Looks just like mine when I bought it three years ago. I have the same wheels and really like them as I don't like the turbo twists very much. Your wheels are not unlike a Foose custom or even are reminiscent of the American Racing mags on your Mustang. Have fun and prepare yourself for a flood of suggestions on how you can modify it.

Nice! Car looks like it's in good shape. I'm loving the rims, they're a beauty.
Is your rear spoiler missing? You should get a Turbo style wing to replace it !

Oops, that was a suggestion to modify, wasn't it?

jax im very jealous of you... im in monterey and noone around here wants to be helpful for a decent price. i flat out told the monterey dealership i can order the part from pelican for 110 and he quotes me for 170... i was like "are you serious?"

thanks for all the comments by the way. and are my rims different than many other boxsters out there? i thought they were the common everyday ones (as common and everyday as a porsche can be i suppose)

Thanks for the complement... jackass lol. I may not be able to hang in the twisties, but at least I can do a burnout (which that and straightline performance is all the car will ever be good for.) The rims on the car are stock "BULLITT" rims. Nothing special, but I think it goes well with the color combo.

What model year is that? Seal Grey? Looks a lot like my 01, right down to the rims...

Look at the options tag on the inside of the hood or pasted in your Warranty & Maintenance manual. Seal Grey is colour code Y1. Arctic Silver is X1

I think those rims should be quite common for MY01.
From one option code site I found (http://industryfigure.com/berkeley/Porsche/Options/OptionsMatrix.htm ), it looks like the standard wheel is 16":

Cast Light Alloy Wheels "Boxster Design":
6J X 16 with 205/55 ZR 16 tires, Front
7J X 16 with 225/50 ZR 16 tires, Rear
Including anti-theft device

Apparently there were options for 17" and 18" (mine are 17's).

Just to confuse things, the optional 17's in the above site are Code 391, which a 2nd site (http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp ) says is for "stone guard foil", and code 232 is for the 17's. Sheesh! I have both codes on my option list, but I don't know what the heck the stone guard foil is for. If it's for the rad inlets, there's nothing there now. If only I could have afforded a new Boxster in 01, there wouldn't be this confusion!
