I dont think they are looking for sympathy... Just expressing the novelty of snow in southern US.

We had it too in LA, but it wouldn't stick. The 4th time in my life I have seen it here.

i sense some sarcasm... :)

the last time i remember "that much" snow in dallas was in 1981. i remember making a pretty decent snowman. since then it's mostly been hit or miss and usually melted later that day or by the next morning.

A foot of snow on Friday, completely gone by Sunday afternoon. One of the reasons I moved to Texas all those years ago. :D

Boxster Snow Boarding
 
Turn your Boxster into a snow board. Find a nice snow covered hill. Strap on some good old ski's to your tires. Put the top down, place one foot in each seat then buckel them down. Stand up and grab the windshield...with a slight push from your buddies, your are now having the thrill you always wanted...going fast and furious with absolutely no control over what is about to happen...it's like being married but much shorter. :cheers:
