Removal of interior plastic trim pieces?

How do I remove the interior plastic trim pieces? I am assuming they just snap into place, but I don't want to break anything. Console as well? I would like to take all my plastic pieces out to have painted my exterior color.

you'll need to be a bit more specific...

- some of the plastic interior pieces do indeed just snap out.
- others are secured w/ just some basic philips or torx screws
- a few, i.e dash trim strip, is bolted from behind and either is accessed by removing entire dash and unbolting from the back-side or by prying the bolts securing it thru the front of the dash ... carefully

If you don't have a Bentley repair manual, it'd be wise to pick one up for ~ $65 to assist as there are various methods used for securing interior trim.

Good luck
