Putting in a Type1 would cost far more than just replacing with a used Boxster engine, and you would end up with a bastard car worth less than it was as a roller with a blown engine. It would be illegal in most states, and has half of the performance of a VW bug (same engine, twice the vehicle weight). You'd be far better off selling off the Boxster roller and just buying a VW bug. __________________ Demick '04 Boxster S
