maf location

Hi can anybody tell me what the maf looks like,where its located and how to get to it,thanks.Its 1999 boxster2.5

This site http://www.cannell.co.uk/Manuals.htm has 986 manuals and the PET parts catalog (version 6). Although the 986 manuals are old, they could still help you out.

In any case, the MAF is located somewhere in the intake plenum after the air filter. What yr/model is your Boxster?

I just saw that from your other post about misfires. Once you get PET and install it, look under 986, 1999, Main Group 1 (Engine) and then to item 1-06-106-00 (Air cleaner), the MAF is item #7 on the diagram with its associated part number.
