I totally hear you, PK2. My leather seats are actually ripped and worn through in spots and look sofa king bad. I'm going to get them re-done next winter, but I have to put up with covers for one summer. I just bought the car and there's a long list of upgrades and seats will have to wait their turn.
Auto upholsterers and leather must be wicked expensive in your part of the world. I got quotes from the best three local shops and they were alll in the $15-2000 range for both seats.
