Tires brand matching or?

My 02 S came with Yoko YK580 fr and S-Drive rears. As most boxsters my rears will need R/R soon. Fronts are almost new. Do most drivers stick with same brand at 4 corners or do you seek out other brands to get the better stickier tire? I'm liking the Hankook EVO and reviews rate them a little higher than the Yokos in the sticky dept. I can only assume the PO got different performance Yokos cause they probably didn't offer one in the other size. So, my question is would you drive a car with two different brands of tires front to back? Please advise. Thanks

Check the tire date. Mine came with 13 year old front tires!!!

I had EVO V12's. They wore pretty fast. Went with Conti ExtremeContact DW's this time.

It is usually better to match tires...but as they age balance will change anyway.
