I'm in Seattle area, but I don't recognize the place (in the background?). Where is it?

Classify "major" failure? I have replaced/repaired items already that, when compared to a Honda or Toyota, would be considered major... starter, climate display, and a future motor mount... items that just don't fail in the Jap cars.

I got my '02 2.7 in 2007 with 56,000 miles on it. I now have 98,400 miles and no major mechanical issues or repairs. Just a new MAF and regular maintenance. Next oil change tomorrow. :troll:

oh yeah I did have to replace my water pump as well. And I replaced my original plastic window top with a retro fit glass top.

A little over 74k miles on my 03 base with a trip and no problems so far. I've put 9k on it since I got it the last week of June in 09. From what I have read on here the cars with the high miles do not appear to have as many problems as the low mileage cars. I read a post a while back from some one that had a only put about 4k miles on their Boxster in 4 years. I like driving mine too much to let sit in the garage. IMHO

1998 fin made boxster,88k on it, no major problems ,original water pump, original aos ,etc ,only had to buy a new maf,and sway bar links ,I would say this is almost bullet proof,it's way more reliable than my one owner , Chevy 1998 s10 4.3 ,with low miles
