rear axle leak

Hey guys, I think my box S has a real axle leak. Has anybody had problems with this or know what issues it may have? How would we differentiate this from the RMS , Rear Main Seal engine problem? I dont want to replace an engine... Is there a thread with pictures to show what is what? Thanks in advance!

I had an axle shaft oil seal leak a year and a half ago, you can tell by the smell of gear oil as it heats up near the exhaust heat sheilds.

Ok it turns out it is the RMS and also I believe an axle leak also. My GE extended warranty will cover it with $200 deductable. Porsche wanted about $1200 for that. Also porsche said I need new rear control arms, how much are these to buy we can put these in ourselves, anybody done this themselves? I wonder if advance auto parts or places like that will have them.
