It's this weekend in Fredericksburg, Texas, 1.5 hours west of Austin.

I noticed registration was closed on the site. If I missed officially registering, will I have any problems while there?

The drive itself is open but the lunch stop is pre-paid as part of registration, as is the Saturday night dinner. Lunch is at a biker place and you may be able to order off the menu or pay once there, but no guarantees. From past experience it's a bit of a mad house as everyone arrives at once. Dinner is much more formal and planned ahead so that's not something you can really walk up to the night of. My suggestion is to email Michael Shassere right away and ask if you can get registered and paypal him the money.

Camera and detailing supplies. Fredericksburg Inn has a hose and there is always someone washing their car.

Good deal. I've never "detailed" my car since getting it from the dealer.... Hopefully I can learn some great tips on washing and waxing. Black boxster always shows water spots, swirls, and generally not as "shiny" as the day I bought it.

I washed, polished and waxed mine on monday and she's been in the garage since. I did some swirl remover polish and it did a pretty good job. I think it was 3M imperial? I'd like to know what stuff you all use for the windows, it seems the stuff I've tried always leaves some streaks that show up in the direct sunlight. Pretty annoying when driving.

Oh, and hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow. It's been raining on and off here in Austin for the past few days.
