lets just hope he's not reading the post like everyone on the 986 forum is or he may stay true to his asking price or the price you offered... sounds like a good deal but if you check on the craigslist in san francisco there is an 02s with 28k miles asking 18.8... that's not bad either... newer with less miles...

I was able to get the price down to 17k as the tires are about 75% worn. I am getting four new Sumitomo HTR Z III tires installed for $750 at big-o. I wanted new tires for the 800+ mile scenic drive back to Washington! I'm excited and can't wait to be part of the Boxster family.
