Outcome of ext. warrenty and IMS repair

Well after waiting about a month for the company to drag thier feet, the ruling finally came back.

They will pay for the IMS repair at Jake's shop. The company I have is listed as a A+ company and "they pride themselves on fast and effecient claim service" however the experience was anything but.

They did pay for the IMS retrofit, which takes care of the clutch labor cost, So the clutch cost was just parts. They also payed for a few other things like motor mount and such.

The moral of the story is that if you have an extended warrenty and fear the IMS, then ship the car to flat six and let them do the clutch at the same time.
