Lottery

Nick,

I am not a lawyer. But, I think it is not legal to have any form of gambling/lottery unless you are a registered non-profit. I would check with someone who knows for sure, before you do it.

It's a nice idea, but I would not pay $100 for a 'chance' to win something like this (maybe $15), especially when what I am paying isn't going to charity. I would rather just flat out buy them if I wanted Speedster humps. I also think you may have trouble finding that many people who want black speedster humps.
But by all means try it out, and if it works it could be the next eBay.

Thumbs down

Personally, I don't even like speedhumps on a Boxster, so I wouldn't buy a ticket.

I question if it's 'right' to work the board for profit. Plus, how you gonna pick the winner in a neutral, unbiased way - Independent accounting firm? If not, there are sure to be some questioning it's validity.

Take your chances and put em on fleabay - there's lots of suckers there, instead of trying to pass the risk to us.

Wouldn't it just be easier to post up in the "for sale" forum and try to get your asking price?

Even if you could get 20 people to gamble $100 (which I doubt), you'd forever be remebered by 19 people as "that guy why screwed me out of a hundred bucks."

A hundred bucks is a little steep for a raffle ticket.
