A fond farewell...

Well, today is indeed a sad day. I traded in the Boxster ( and my C280 ) last night on a CPO 2008 MB C350 with 9k miles. It's a great car, and it has a 4 year / 100k mile warranty, but I will miss the Porsche.

It's been a great 3 years ( and 30k + miles ) , with no problems whatsoever other than routine maintenance. With the addition of our baby girl to the family in February, the upcoming work needed that was uncovered on the Box when the 60k miles service was done, and the C280 hitting 150k miles it was time. It has been a pleasure spending time with all of you here in cyberspace ( and making some great friends along the way ) and I wish the best of luck to all of you in the future.

Warm regards,

Nick

Nick, looks great. Congrats on the new car. If you ever need a Boxster "fix" just let me know, and I'll swing by your house.

Will you take the C350 on the Dragon?

Dude, do you love pain and suffering? When will you get away from your black car fetish? JK Great looking car!

I'm sure that thing would go around an autocross course (not as quick or as good looking as the Box but I'm sure it would get through it okay) so shoot me an email for a weekend you're free.

Great car Nick!

I had a 2008 C300 as a loaner for a week and thought it was an awesome vehicle. Please keep us posted on maintenance & performance of the MB. That is the car I would like my dad to buy in the near future.

Et tu, Brute?

I'm thinking you'll be back in the Pcar club sooner than later with a 911 with kid-friendly back seats!

TELL ME YOU DIDN'T GIVE SOME DEALER THOSE BLACK FACTORY HUMPS!!!!

(not that I have any cash right now, but I'm just sayin')

A gorgeous car, for sure! Congratulations on that and your baby!

Keep us posted, I recommended this and the new Audi A4 for my sister's first new car (she wants something German, to show off I'm sure =P).
