New splitter kit
Go to: http://www.extremedimensions.com/html and check out the front splitter. It reminds me of the splitters on the new Boxster & Cayman. Cast in somewhat flexible fiberglass and the one piece unit extends across the bottom of the bumper. I am not fond of the side skirts or side skirts in general but I do like the look of this front piece. Have any of you had experience with this mfg. and if so what is your appraisal? They want $500 for the thing shipped. Comes in black primer with mounting instructions.

They say in their description that their fiberglass technology results in "75% less shipping damages?!" Alright!, so most of the time, the product is delivered undamaged! Yeah! Have no experience with them, but I hope they make the product better than they can type.

Remove the html form the end of the address!
Re splitter, I can't find a Boxster pic on that site. But overall, my opinion (and this is only a matter of taste) is that I wouldn't want it if it was free. These things ruin the look of most cars, look like cheap add-ons that the wind will dislodge (if some low clearance driveway doesn't first).

Kirk, thanks for the heads up on the Gemballa photo. So this is not even a photo of what they would be selling? Not good. I would not buy it unless it was cheap enough to take the chance and even then it would probably not be quality anyhow. As far as being close to stock, it reminds me of the splitters on the new Boxster and Cayman. Very subtle as I would not want to alter the way mine currently looks. You, being one of the Masters of custom body work, would require something more dramatic. Your car reflects this and is a winner and very custom. Like the man said, "Their is no accounting for taste". To each his own. I would like some feedback from someone who has had experience with these kits up close and personal. Thanks to all who responded.
Now Kirk, how about some new 'assistant' pics for us as it has been far too long.....
