Side turn signal replacement

Is $30 for white turn signals (replacing amber) on a 2000 boxster s sound like a good idea?

Depends on which ones those are. There are cheap ones on Ebay that ship from China or Taiwan which some folks have reported having problems with. They don't line up right or they just look cheap. You can buy them direct from several of the vendors for around $45.00

Suncoast wants $49.95 for a pair. Guess it depends on their condition.

The guy is reporting them as used from a 2000 carrera 996. I wasn't sure if they were typically $100 or more for a pair. I was just wondering if the ones in the picture were the same as what I would buy from suncoast. I was sorta hoping to eliminate all of the amber, but it looks like the bulb is that color. I suppose I could always buy 2 bulbs that are clear.

clear bulb and clear lens sounds very bright and distracting. the amber bulbs are sweet. me thinks white lighting on side is also illegal?

Illegal? I've seen lots of people do it. And when they do it looks better to me. I believe the bulb is amber, but the actual cover is clear.

Ya, the one in the picture I showed has the amber bulbs and I was thinking about switching it out to clear. But if it's illegal, I may leave it alone. Thats all I meant.
