I did this and it is a really nice mod with the Napa Gold 1042 spin on high flow filter. Mobil 1 and K&N make good filters for the adaptor also, but Napa Gold flows best according to Charles Navarro at LN Engineering.

By the way, I bought the Porsche wrench about 4 years ago. Last month found cheap workable version had been in my toolbox for years!

Also considering Motul 300V in 5W-40 from LNE while you are ordering.
