I guess, I change my oil and filter much sooner than Porsche or any other source says to. I doubt any failure of my thus far perfectly running, crossed fingers 2.5 is going to be related to my oil filter selection.

Wasn't my intention, but I did choose a filter that would have as close to the original proportions to the original housing, so I must have gotten it close!
