Nice wheels, what kind?

Anyone know what kind of wheels these are? I'm interested in finding out the weight. Have they been spaced out?

Those look like Gemballa wheels. I personally do not like them at all. They are light weight btw.

they remind me of the wheels on the original Boxster Concept Car.
These seem prone to bending.

Looks like they could be RH wheels. Looks similar to these:

As far as I know, RH wheels are not light... 24-29 pounds on average.

yeah that's not light at all. I'm not 100% sold on the spoked two piece design but they seem to have always been associated with Porsche. I prefer the BBS or Kinesis mesh designs, it gives some contrast to the simple unlcluttered body panels. Perhaps a two piece mesh but not sure on the weight. I plan to add some Falken Azenis during the Summer and these have very very stiff sidewalls that are heavy.

I'm with you.. I like like mesh design also. 2 piece mesh style hrm..

BBS RS-GT wheels are two piece mesh style and are extremely light for a forged wheel. (20-21 lbs). Too bad BBS wheels prices have skyrocketed because of the declining dollar.

yeah those prices are out of control. But in the big scheme of things I don't think its that big of a deal. Wheels are a major selling point on a used car. Don't know why but people seem more interested if the car has nice wheels. I sold my Miata with BBS RK's and the new owner was adamant that he wanted these wheels before he agreed to buy. Wheels make guys car crazy.
Yeah I think I'm going to go with the GT-RS, not sure to go with the bright silver or the gun mettal finish. That seems like the best combination of weight, strength and style.

Those are Kinesis Supercup wheels. I have them on my car. I like them because of the deep dish look and because they are similar to the wheels that were on the Boxster concept car. I have had many positive comments on them.

Cool wheels. I almost bought a set of the mesh-like BBS's (there's a dealer selling new sets for under $2k on eBay), but stumbled across a super deal on the Gemballa's I'm now running. Definitely lighter than the stock wheels.

The wheels only are $895 and listed as "2004 Porsche 2pc Forged BBS LM1 Style Competition wheels"

They look like the real deal, but I haven't seen them in person. I was going to buy a set ($1,700 with tires), but went with the Gemballa's instead.

They're just BBS LM "style". There's a set of used genuine LM's (with tires mounted) auctioning for about $2600-2700. Considering LM's run 900-1000 per wheel now, it's a great deal if anyone's interested.

The operative word there is "style". Those are not genuine. Genuine ones run about $1,000 per wheel now.
