Wait code on the stereo

I'm getting a wait code after plugging the stereo back in. It never gave me the opportunity to enter the code. The manual tells me to wait 60 seconds and you get 3 more chances to enter the code. I waited 10 minutes and it's still throwing the wait code. What do I do now?

Did that, nothing still says wait. I disconnected the stereo from the harness again and am going to try that.

I swear, every time I do something to this car something ends up not going back together right or not working. Beautiful.

renntech.com says you have to wait an hour with the ignition switch on and the radio on...that's convenient. Good on the battery also.
