I've been paying a fair amount of attention and i haven't heard of any yet. I had my RMS leak once on my 2005 but they replaced it with yet another revised seal and haven't had any problems since (30,000 miles ago or so).

Check out (search) the archives of the past year at ppbb for IMS failures. You'll find what you are looking for.

I think that is a very reasonable attitude. Either way, there is not much one can do about it. Best is to go out and enjoy the car
