I had 2 recent quotes for repainting my hardtop, both in the $650 range. One had a charge of .5 hr labor for removing the top
I asked about the charge and the guy said, "you can save that charge if you bring the top to the shop and we don't have to remove it" I asked him if he cared what I brought the top to the shop with. He said "no that wouldn't matter", so I told him that was great, I would bring it ON the Boxster
Geeeeeeeesh, some people just don't get it, huh?
ps. Hope you don't need a new rubber seal, they are only $642
from the stealership
