Question 987 Service Mode

I want to poke around the engine compartment since it a nice day today, but I can't figure out how to get my LE into service mode. Nothing in the owner's manual about it. Did a search and found no details, hence this post.

I've got the top open about 10". The cables are detached. The rear window seems to want to fold back but not easily and it doesn't stay on its own. There's a strap with a loop on it but I can't figure out what to hook it to. What step(s) am I missing?

TIA

Hey I can be useful!

Open the top up part way.
Un-hook the cables
Flip the hanging piece over the glass top while lifting up the edge and folding the glass. (hard to explain, obvious when you mess with it)
Take that velcro'd strap and pull it up to the front of the top. The elastic part gets looped around the front of the top on one of the 'nubs', if it doesn't fit you may have to close the top a little bit more.

I'm looking for pictures.

Open the top about that far and loop the strap around the nub that is circled. It holds the top up out of the way.
