Getting Ready to Store..question

I've been straightening up and rearranging the garage getting ready to store the Boxster. I've had the similair questions of "change oil now or in spring", "tire pressure / flat spotting", etc. Here's a new one, maybe....Do any of you guys that put up your cars for a few months in the winter fold your mirrors in? I've ran a search on this site and others w/o luck, just wanted to make sure this isn't a no-no. Thanks for any input.

I fold mine in. The 987 has a setting for this on the mirrors, that brings them in slightly.

Thanks bmussatti . I just would like reassurance that the paint / springs don't fail / weaken while in this postion for a few months.
