Looking at the picture, I think it's prior owner's family are the sad ones. The owner probably isn't around any longer.

Don't know if the owner and the driver are one and the same, but according to the accompanying story, the driver (and passenger) walked away from what's left.

wow, I'm amazed they survived. That isn't the first totaled ferrari that I've heard that. They must be built to protect the occupants very well.

It serves the "young man" right, for speeding in a residential area. It's too bad about the car, but it looks like the headlight may have survived.
