Here is my other ride....

Sorry, don't know how to attach a picture when replying to a message.

As posted in the reply, this is a 1988 IROC-Z Convertible, 5.0 TPI, 5 speed, 154K miles, I have had this car since brand new in 1988. Haven't driven it on a regular basis for the past 3 years. Still runs very strong. Has the ORIGINAL clutch!

I like it! They were fun to drive, drop the clutch and go in a hurry!

Know, when that motor gives out, there is always a LS1.

Those IROC Zs are pretty fast. I foolishly gave one about 10 yds headstart at a light I couldn't catch him until he backed off at somewhere past 130mph. Given my one ride over 110mph in a friend's 01, seems like backing off was a wise move - Lots of power but the stock suspension didn't inspire comfort just when a fast driver could use a little reassurance.

That was one head-to-head where I went home hanging mine real low!

No need to feel bad. In a straight line, the small block Chevy rules! Look at the new Ao6, 427 CI, 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.

Wahoooooooooooooooooooooo!
