My real question (unresolved) was whether to spell it Sonia or Sonja. |
a Subie!
Soon to have Brembo discs and Hawk pads all around ;) .
Bought this before the Boxster. Great car for New England, never fails to get me through the snow to snowshoeing and ski areas and to northcountry hiking trailheads in warmer weather. As compared to the Boxster, can travel at the same highway speeds with no yahoos or police paying any attention... it does take a bit more time to get up to those speeds though  ! One side of my family owns nothing but Subarus, something like 15 cars at this point. No problems with any of them of significance, and the dealer treats you like gold if there is. Compare that to our favorite sports car marque's dealer experience! |
My wife is on her third Outback Wagon. She loves them, so do I. Nothing better in the snow and rain.

My Audi is great in the snow and rain :)

'04 Jetta 1.8T. Manual transmission and cold-weather package. Gotta love turbocharging :)

My other car is my wife's 05 C230K
Very nice car!

Subie Forester for me. Actually, it's not mine - it's the dogs' car!

My other car is..... A VW Passat..... how exciting! Busy saving up for a Cayenne though....

Pilot: "2004 Audi allroad( best audi ever) great for skiing. Next she wants the Cayenne."
--- At least she has good taste; more than can be said for many women. |

What year? My last car was a black/black 2003 Passat V6 5spd. I loved it to death until it met its demise. (Saved my life though) |

My other car is a 2003 Mazda 6. V6, manual tranny. Very good car, one of the best handling front wheel drive cars I've driven. I'm considering getting the Mazdaspeed 6 when it comes out. Like F1CAR4ME said, "gotta love turbocharging". And all-wheel-drive.
|
I have driven the Mazda 6 many times. Nice nice car. Great value too!

..among a couple of other's: '68 Intl. Travelall.
I've had this for about 16yrs. It's like driving my Massey-Ferg tractor at 60mph but still; great truck. A couple of motors, trans rebuild, body work every three years and needs a headliner. I got some leather to sew up a new front seat, but the little I have to put in it is worth every penny. I'd drive it to Florida (800mi) without a thought.

It is a classic!

1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo
|
I'm sooo jealous. I've been a huge Esprit fan since Motor Trend arrived in '88 with one of the 88 special edition Esprits with the blue and white interior. It was kind of my first choice when I was shopping for a toy car, but reliability concerns and the fact that it's not a convertable drove me away. Once I have the Boxswter paid off, if I'm in the position to be able to afford another toy I think I will give it a very serious look as it won't be driven near as much as the boxster and I should be able to maintain it a bit more easily because of that.
Is yours one of the 88 with the blue-white interior and dash plaque? How about a picture!!! |
