987 Zeintec Spoiler interest?

Hello all. I just confirmed this morning that the Zeintec spoiler will in fact be available soon, within a week, contrary to what someone had posted somewhere.

I am trying to get a discount (aka Group Buy) if a few people are interested albeit I am not sure how much, or what the spoiler costs...should know by tomorrow. So if anyone is interested please post here and when I have the price I will let everyone know.

This is basically the same as the 986 spoiler they have been selling but modified for the 987 models. And it is a direct bolt-on with no modifications, which also goes up & down like the stock spoiler.

HAve you tried contacting zeintop about that? I find it strange they would skip 04 and go straight to 987s, unless there is something really strangely different about an 04?
IN going back and re-reading their little blurb, is it a typo? It reads like, "pre 987, 986 Boxsters only" to me. They may mean pre 2005, 986 boxsters.

This is in the FAQ;

4. Will the Zeinwing fit my 2004 Boxster?

No, the Zeinwing currently is suitable for pre 2004 Boxsters only. This includes Boxster 987. Zeinwing for models later than 2003 is in development.

I e-mailed them asking what the difference is between the years? I didn't know there was. Anyone, anyone...Bueller, Bueller?

It fits the 97-02 boxsters. The reason why they say it doesn't fit the 2003-04 boxsters, or as they mean to say, is because the rear spoiler of the 03/04 models changed, and thus the area at the top of the rear bumper cover accomodates the updated spoiler. The zeintec spoiler base fits over the 97-02 rear bumper cover, and not the 03/04. The 05+ 987 is a different story, and that is what they are currently working on releasing.

I love their spoiler, I also like the way they cover the "pit" when the spoiler is deployed. I'm sure the NASCAR style is effective but it sure is butt ugly when extended rolling down the road. The 997's spoiler? Now that's a spoiler that will give you a chubby!
