The 16,538 mile Boxster update

It's still fun, and has surprisingly good suspension articulation.

Now, on to the pictures:

Great Pics Samson. The tree looks amazing. What kind of furtilizer do you use?

Is that a headstone for someone who didn't make the turn?

Heh, thanks! I have a few more... I'll see what else I can find and post them up in a bit.

Regarding the marker by the tree - It's been vandalized repeatedly, so I'm not exactly sure. This particular tree is a 500+ year old "state champion" burr oak. With that age, and being in Missouri... I'm pretty sure the marker had something to do with a dark past.

Here's the tree:

I was just looking for more information on the tree, and found out that I missed quite the opportunity... we had some decent flooding around here a couple of weeks ago, and I tried to go out and get some shots of the tree area, but the road was flooded:

I almost drove out to the other entry point, but I figured that would be flooded as well... turns out it wasn't:

(not my picture, found it on google)

Anyway, that's your random Missouri fact for the day...
