Is there an acccessory fuse for Homelink and the Heated Seats??

Hey guys,

I have a 2006 987S and my Homelink and Heated Seats stopped working all the sudden. Neither of the LED's come on.

I checked the fuse guide (driver's kick panel) and it did not list either power accessory. Just to be sure, I manually checked each fuse and they are all intact.

Is there another set of accessory fuses in these cars? I was hoping to self diagnose the problem prior to taking my car to the dealer.

Thanks

Here is the fuse map for the 2006 - 987. If this doesn't help, you might try www.renntech.org. They've got some good stuff on the 987's there.

Better late than never..

I can't answer the fuse question, but I do know this...my heated seats and homelink stopped working in my 987 after one of the cells in my battery died and the car wouldn't start. It had to be jumped twice before going over to an indy repair guy to test/replace the battery. Once replaced, I noticed the homelink and heated seats didn't work.

It wasn't a fuse problem. Software controlling those options has to be reset to restore functionality. My independent mechanic evidently didn't have the software. I brought the car to a dealer and it was fixed within an hour.

I'm writing this 3 years after your post just to disseminate this fix.
