Annual oil change or at recommended interval?

Thanks for the starting this post, I found it very helpful, I will point out though that 3 million miles (3000k miles) every summer is quite a lot of driving.


My question is, if doing an annual oil change should it be done at the end of the year when putting it away for the winter or in the spring when getting it back out?
