I don't want to hijack but where can I find good info on the rear speakers? My 02 has the same rear storage compartment and I'm in serious need of an audio upgrade.

I think Sunset Porsche or Suncoast Porsche has the best deal on rear speakers. Under $200 if I remember correctly.

Do you have them installed? If so, how much do they improve the soundstage? I'm considering other options because Porsch seriously dropped the ball with the Boxster's audio.

I have them installed. Paid double that for a used pair three years ago.

They're not the finest audio loudspeakers one can buy, but they really make the stereo worth turning on when installed. The grills fit perfectly and the sound quality isn't bad.

Like I said, I highly recommend buying them and doing the install yourself. It makes for a fun and frustrating Saturday

I bought a factory porsche short shifter (which I believe is just a B&M in a different color with the whole mounting console) and an EVOMS shift linkage used for a reasonable price. I think that it was an excellent mod! Shifting is much more involved and I have even more of a desire to put on a louder exhaust cause shifting is now so much more fun! It was only 215 for me, but you can buy a B&M shifter from www.bumperplugs.com for $200 + shipping.

They are easy to install and I think its fantastic!
