The guy that I know that owns an Enzo was filling up his F40 at a gas station that I drove by. Wow it looks so much better in person than it does in pictures (I guess thats the opposite for the countach).
P.S. about Cannon Ball: That is one fast tractor :D Oh, and I heard that countach is kinda like the Italian slang for "holy ****************" which is what a worker said when he first saw the car coming out of the factor for testing, I dunno if this is true, but its cool |

you are right the quality build of lambos even ferraris are not as good as we expect it. 2 of my friends have murcialagos and there leather is bubbling and trim is loose already. The fitment and feel of some interior components dont feel great either. The thing you have to remember about Lamborghini is that they have constantly been under new ownership and their parts come from various parts bins. The exposed headlights of the diablo are from a 300zx for example. some indonesian company once owned lambo...Ferrari does get alot of their parts from fiat. just look at the cheap ugly vents in the 355, 360, and 430. This dealer with the reventon has the Lowest mileage F40 with 125 original miles and the paint is flaking and peeling on some edges. Personaly I just like the seats on the ferraris and the engine. the designs lost its course and performance is now mass produced by others. |

The Gallardo is imo the best lambo to date. It has the best of both worlds, German and Italian. My dad purchased one of the first Gallardos to hit stateside and the car is an absolute dream. He did have a few problems in which Lamborghini were more than happy to fix under warranty. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...oRoadTrack.jpg |

Interesting Countach Segment
This threaded ended with quite a few posts, positive and negative, about the Lamborghini Countach.
I'm a fan of Jay Leno's website and just wanted to point out his segment of the week features his 1986 Countach. It is pretty interesting. For those that missed it he drove a 997.2 with PDK transmission a couple of weeks ago that you still can view. ddb http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/ |
