Shallow idiots like these give the female gender a bad rep. How retarded.

ha ha ha...this is a constant topic of discussion around here. I worked with a girl who had several dozen pairs of shoes and expensive hand bags. Tens of thousands of dollars. Clearly she had a problem. She had only a fraction of that amount sitting in stocks, IRA, etc.

That's the sad part. I know plenty of 'stay at home' wives who have no kids and just spend their money like there is no tomorrow on the latest Fendi (not even real leather!!!!!) bag but THEY CAN AFFORD TO DO IT...They're filthy rich and its no big deal. Mean while I know plenty of others who spend $500 a pair of shoes or $2K on a handbag and make no more than $100K a year. 2% of their personal income on a A bag?!
another reason why we hear these celebrities go broke after their 15 minutes of fame are up.

Glad you said all that. Even if you could afford to do it, there is a needy world out there that needs help. And if you can't afford to do it - get a grip on what matters.
Damn! I said I wouldn't say anything. Ooooooops.
Its pretty cool how LB can start a long thread on topics like a cute tween idol with good looking shoes.

I guess I'm sort of an anomaly (if that's the right word) because I love cars AND shoes and purses and clothing. As a kid I played with dolls and cars. I say just spend your money on what you want to spend it on. Shoot, my dad works with a guy who spent $10k on a hunting trip! I was like WTF? But hey, each to his or her own....

Where I live there are children without parents that live in the sewer system under the city.

I just don' get a crocodile bag costing $50K USD...or even $10K. I remember being offered bags made out of exotic animal skins like this for about $20 in some countries.

Actually, some of those bags probably hold their value better than your boxster. Like I say, it's all in what YOU want to spend YOUR money on. You have a boxster. There are women who could care less about a car and are happy driving a 10-year-old Honda but are serious about their handbag collections.

And where I live there are people living under the Claiborne overpass.
