OEM rear speakers?

I recently had professional installation of a set of PNP rear speakers and I was going to throw out the box they came, which was sitting in my trunk for weeks. When I opened the box there was a brand new set of OEM speakers
The two previous owners never had them connected to the head unit!
I wonder if they even knew they came with the sound pack.
Does anyone have the OEM set? any good? what do you think they are worth?

I have a set and they work rather well. I have no idea on the value.

There are speakers that fit in the Storage tray back of the rollbars. These come standard as part of the STP. I installed some in a 03 Box and it really made a difference. Fit nicely in the storage tray so the look was totally stock and quite neat.

All in all, a nice addition for sound without going aftermarket.

Were there grills on the storage box and was the cable that runs from the speakers to the radio installed.

I too would be interested if the speakers come with grills and the wire that connects them to the radio. Maybe you should put them on EBay.

Yes, this is the whole unit that comes in the Sports Touring Package. I am keeping it to install in one of my future Boxsters so I wont be listing them on EBAY.

I'll be listing mine soon, Need to pay some bills!
even though the speakers were sitting back there for 4 years the grills didn't come with the ST package. Typical Porsche "pay as you go". Not sure about the connections but it didn't take my sound guy any longer than 30 minutes to connect the speakers.
They aren't nearly as loud as the front dash speakers but if I adjust the fade to 40-60 I get a much more surround sound effect.
